The Golden Crescent Chorus, Lorain Chapter of The Barbershop Harmony Society, is composed of about 60 men from Lorain, Erie and Cuyahoga counties who sing for enjoyment. The chorus performs in many venues:

• Our annual fall show
• Summer Community Appreciation performances
• Public service appearances in nursing homes and retirement centers
• Society contests

The chorus also maintains an outreach program in area school systems through our Partners in Harmony Program.

The present chapter was chartered in 1958, since then The Golden Crescent Chorus has been a very active and dynamic group that takes pride in our performances and our quality of singing. Read more >>

Our Mission Statement: The Lorain Chapter of The Barbershop Harmony Society, also known as The Golden Crescent Chorus, will be an ever-growing fraternity of barbershop style singers dedicated to the preservation and encouragement of barbershop harmony in our communities and schools.
